Well, what I actually had was strep. The daughter came to me at 11 pm Tuesday, in tears from her sore throat. So Wednesday we went to the doctor, and he said she had it, and I was probably next. So antibiotics all around.
Being sick didn't in any way change the fact that stuff had to be done, so the work continued. The in-laws arrived on Thursday night. I bought the last gift on the 24th, as is my tradition, and got everything wrapped by dinnertime.
We opened presents here this morning, then went to Mom's for dinner. We got back around 9 pm, and we're wiped out, but it was great fun. Merry Christmas!
