The Canes won the Stanley Cup!
My goodness, there just isn't anything else to say after that except YAY!
I got to watch part of that last game on tv, and was it ever amazing. They just played their little hearts out, and they made it happen. Fantastic! Erik Cole is my hero, but I wish to hell he'd find something less dangerous to do with himself before he gets hit again and winds up in a wheelchair. (His neck was broken in a vicious hit in the spring, but he was well enough to play in the last two games. Everytime he gets hit, he risks re-injury. That's hockey.)
There's nothing else interesting going on, really. Work is work-like, the animals are fine. I haven't been to the gym lately, but I've been walking the dog's paws off on early morning or late evening walks. It's standard June weather here: hot-n-humid. I get regular emails from David, he's bored but otherwise doing fine. Life plods on.
