My cake won first prize! I'm so proud. And the prize was a gift certificate to AC Moore, which caused me to exclaim, "Yarn!"
I took Dolly to Petsmart tonight for a bath, nail clipping, and ear cleaning. Poor kid. But she's very soft and kinda fluffy. Heh. She dislikes Petsmart almost as much as the vet now.
While she was being groomed, I went shopping. I found a present or two, and got some ideas. I also bought some yarn, even though I didn't have my gift certificate with me. Hey, I can always buy more yarn.
Tomorrow, I'm going to take Dolly up to Durham to see my folks. My Aunt Jean and her dog Nigel are visiting for the holiday, and I can't wait to see them both. Photos to follow, I'm sure.
