Today was the holiday lunch for our small group. We went to a restaurant and had a grand time eating and talking.
Not much got done today, frankly. I should have just taken leave and bailed out, but I stayed. I might have to take tomorrow afternoon off, though. I still have much to do.
Tonight I managed to get the sugar cookies done. I have a new recipe which sounds absolutely decadent, but I ran out of time after the sugar cookies were done. I used my whole collection of cookie cutters, which I haven't done in years. Later, washing them, I remembered why: it's a pain in the neck. Oh well, it's done.
I also spent some time knitting, while watchingt tv. I'm all about the multi-tasking. Plus, I love the Dog Whisperer. Mmmm, Cesar.
I still have to wrap, but I believe the shopping is done. I also have to knit more, and faster, too. We'll see how it goes.
