Work is so quiet - hardly anyone's at work. Kinda nice, really.
I got a few things done at work today, nothing major. I had a good dinner, walked Dolly, and went to a meeting. I took some laundry downstairs afterwards, and found a lump of lint on the washer. Hmm. Behind the washer, I found a wadded up tee shirt, and a couple of pecans...? Looking up, I noticed the unused dryer vent over the machine. Some damn squirrel must have pushed its way into the vent from the outside, trying to hide pecans. I hope like hell the squirrel isn't down there too, but I saw no sign of one, the cat's not hunting, and the dog's oblivious. I put new wadding in the vent and duct-taped it shut (mostly to keep the cold out). I'll call the management company tomorrow to ask them to seal that thing. The last thing I want in the house is a tree rat.
